Contrary to what most believe, your sweat isn’t what stinks. It’s part of the grossness, but actually don’t smell like anything. Your pits, groin, and other areas have bacteria which, when they come into contact with sweat, release that gross smell that out you for the sweaty mess you are.
Citric acid can help stop the growth of those stink-causing micro-organisms under your arms, so lightly applying lemon juice can help with your odor issues. Careful, though, too much can cause painful burns.
Sorry to all the Ron Swanson wannabes out there, but one of the biggest culprits behind body stink is red meat. Other things like foods high in sugar, refined white flour, and hydrogenated oil also play a role in making you stick out on public transportation.
Try eating more leafy and green veggies, as well as incorporating herbs into your diet like parsley, oregano, rosemary, cilantro, and mint.
